The Unico Hotel is a 5-star accommodation. There is an abundance of amazing restaurants with a plethora of food choices available 24X7 all included in your room purchase price. 

There are also mixologists available for alcoholic and non-alcoholic choices. 
Fresh clean drinking water is provided by the hotel.

Note: Water in Mexico: It is not recommended to drink/wash your teeth with the local water unless your body is adjusted. Bottled water is highly recommended to prevent tummy upset and will be provided by the hotel.

The nearest airport is Cancun, Mexico airport.

The arrival from the airport to the hotel can take approximately 2-3 hours. (The Cancun airport is 1.5hrs drive to/from the Unico hotel in Tulum)

You can arrange a car rental (please do your research. It is best to rent from a reputable rental company. Look at the reviews!!!!) and/or transportation is provided by the hotel via a group van that will pick you up and drop you offer. The transfer rates start at $150. 

Each day will have an early morning (6am) activity as well as a late evening (until 11pm) activity. 

The tentative schedule start is Thursday the 14th of sept start time at 1pm where we will meet and greet. 

Saturday night there is a goodbye party for those that have to leave early, and Sunday sept the 17th  morning there is get together Q&A session until approximately noon. 

Note: There is an option for an extra VIP upgrade day on the 18th of Sept. (This requires at least 5 people before confirmed.) This is a day to spend with Johanna and others for a branding photo shoot with makeup and hair included. 

The whole retreat portion will be held at the resort, some inside and some outside. It’s a huge hotel with indoor and outdoor areas. 

There will be air conditioned workshop type activities, as well as beach/water activities. 

You can choose to add mayan tours, visit the cenotes, snorkeling etc during your spare time and or we recommend after the retreat has ended on sunday. 

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing for movement such as yoga pants, sundresses, light materials. There will be some optional ocean /beach activities so a bathing suit is highly recommended.

Please plan on arriving before 3pm on Sept 14th and leaving after 12pm on Sept 17th. 
It’s highly recommended that you attend every workshop that is offered during the 3 days.

Money:
Everything at the hotel can be paid for with a credit card. You will receive your invoice at your departure. This is an all-inclusive resort, so the majority of purchases will be included in your payment prior. Spa, special purchases and/or extra services will be added to your room charge. 
American USD and Peso’s are accepted almost everywhere. You can exchange your currency at the airport or at the hotel. 

Tips = 15% is a normal amount for tips. 
Many bus drivers, butlers, taxi drivers, waiters etc welcome American Dollars and/or Peso’s. 

Please check with your phone company on international phone plans. There is Wifi at the hotel, however, sometimes phone companies will charge you for a data plan.

It’s highly recommended that you download anything important to your phones hard drive that you may need.

It is required to have a valid passport with at least 6 months from expiration date to enter into Mexico.

At this time, masks and vaccines are not required to enter into Mexico. Please double check your countries local rules and regulations. 

There is a $250 non-refundable deposit for the retreat ticket. Please contact Johanna@JohannaGardner.com for any refunds. There are no refunds on tickets after August 31st, 2023.
